2.3.90 - February 2025

2.3.90 Enhancements & Bug Fixes

Enhancements

We have made the following improvements:

Ability to create a list of favourite reports

We have created the ability to save and view a list of favourite reports by user in Standard Reports, which can then be selected and used via the new 'Select Favourite' button.

How to use

Alongside the report, the user is presented with a star which is blank/white by default, if not tagged as a favourite. The user can select the star to set the report as a favourite, when it will become active/gold and added to the favourite list.  This can aid in easier access by the user to frequently used reports.  There is currently a maximum of 10 reports that can be recorded as favourites by a user.

In addition to favourite report function, we have also added a 'Select Recent' reports button.  This presents a list the most recently used reports by users.  This can aid in easier access by the user to recently used reports without saving as a Favourite report.  There is currently a maximum of 10 reports that can be recorded as recently used for a user.

Collapse merge the same patient / client on reminders screen

We have improved the functionality of the 'AllAnimals' merge field when used in patient related communications where there are more than one patient.  This improves the presentations of multiple pet name by introducing an 'and' in-between the last two names.  Making it read better within the communication.

Removal of the Currency symbol on Standard Report templates

The currency symbol removed for the reports "Month End - By Surgeon Summary" & "Stock Out – Sales" to support the standardisation of report outputs.

Food Chain Dropdown

When viewing the “Intended for food chain” flag in the Patient Details screen, and it was unchecked, you couldn't be sure if it was because the animal is NOT intended for the food chain, or the flag had not been checked yet.

We have changed this to a dropdown list with 3 values; 'Blank' (meaning no selection has been made), "Yes" (the animal IS intended for the food chain), and "No" (the animal IS NOT intended for the food chain).

On implementation of this if the flag has been checked then the value will be "Yes", if the flag is unchecked then the value will be 'Blank'.

Bug Fixes

  • Code Entry - User had to click 'save' twice to update pricing fields when 'Track Main Site Pricing' was unticked.
  • Users with no action permission 'Diary - Deleted Availability' were able to delete Surgeon's Availability via right-clicking the availability which gave the option to delete. This has been fixed.
  • Overlapping of Appointment Label, Patient Name and Date has been resolved.
  • Rounding issues when observing the price from the branch when the following conditions were set: Cost - Using a cost where it will not result in a number rounded to 2 decimal places when using the below markup and Markup - Set to 50%
  • Diary - the 'Right Click' context menu disappeared when 'DIARY_ENABLE_DRAG_AND_DROP' was set to FALSE.
  • We have resolved an issue, whereby users were able to enter free text in "Dispense By" field on treatment label screen, when free text should only permit searching for the valid surgeon.
  • An issue where Exporting Code Grid view to CSV could show different information to what was shown on screen when changing default stock centre.
  • Where Merlin wasn't showing the tax code specified within the Code, when adding a Code Entry Discount to an existing.
  • An issue where there could be differences in the whole pack NET cost, between Price List and Code Entry
  • When logging in at one site, it was not possible to add new batch numbers for stock items at another site. Existing batches could be edited or excluded but new ones could not be created.
